They take a large cut from the therapist's rate, which drives up the price families pay, while therapists take home less than they deserve.
Meanwhile, experienced therapists who want to work independently face a tough market. Even though they're highly qualified — often the same therapists you'd get through an agency — they struggle to find clients on their own because the agency controls the referral pipeline.

Private Pay Only
TherapyShadchan is a private pay platform. All therapists set their own rates, and all services are arranged directly between the family and the therapist. We do not process insurance claims or coordinate benefits. Families are always free to search and connect — there are no fees for families using the platform.
